Going Down, Down, Down

It has been a downward spiral my friends with an upward climb on the scale.

I DO NOT want this to be like every attempt in the past with it lasting for a bit and then going right back to my old ways and getting bigger than ever!

I want to pick myself back up and not worry about the last few weeks, just look ahead.

I CAN do this!!  I CAN.. And I WILL!!

Lord ~  Grant me the strength to get back to my healthy eating. Help remove temptation and more imporatantly, when temptation arises help me to stand up under it.  Help me to be all that you call me to be.  Thank you Father.    amen.


  1. You can borrow my mantra if you want. "I can do hard things". Cheesy? Yes. But it works! When ever something comes up that is difficult for me be it a social eating situation, or a private eating situation, or an exercise opportunity (that I don't want to do) I just tell myself "I CAN do hard things!!!"

    I know only too well how hard it is to get back into healthy eating after a patch of poor choices but it can be done and you do have the strength. It's just not easy.

    I really like the above mantra. "I can do hard things"

  4. Yes you can do it! I am going through the same thing right now and having been on vacation, I don't have the best food choices available to me. It is so easy to start feeling bad about yourself and panicing. But you have already proved that it can be done. Don't get discouraged. We are all in this together.:)
